Cinnamon Quinoa Breakfast Bowl

Quinoa simmered in almond milk with cinnamon, apple and walnuts.

Ingredients

  • 150 g cooked quinoa
  • 150 ml almond milk
  • 1 small apple, diced
  • 15 g walnuts
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • ¾ tsp cinnamon

Method

  1. In a small saucepan, simmer dry quinoa in almond milk with cinnamon for 15 minutes.
  2. Stir in diced apple and a teaspoon of maple syrup.
  3. Top with walnuts and a sprinkle more cinnamon.
