Three-Bean Turkey Chili

Lean ground turkey simmered with black, kidney and pinto beans, peppers and chili spices.

Ingredients

  • 600 g cooked lean ground turkey
  • 1 can (320 g) black beans
  • 1 can (320 g) kidney beans
  • 1 can (320 g) pinto beans
  • 500 g tomato sauce
  • 200 g red pepper, diced
  • 200 g onion, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 g salt
  • cilantro to garnish

Method

  1. Brown turkey with onion, garlic and bell pepper in olive oil 8 min.
  2. Add chili powder, cumin and paprika; toast 30 seconds.
  3. Add tomato sauce, all three beans and 200 ml water. Simmer covered 20 min, uncovered 5 more.
  4. Adjust salt. Top bowls with cilantro.
